SHIPPING

bittersweet bracelets are shipped from San Diego, CA.  With standard shipping please allow up to 7 business days for delivery within the United States and with express shipping please allow 3-5 business days.  In a rush? If you require a rush order, please contact us via email at to inquire about rush shipping. We will do our absolute best to meet your deadline.

  

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We have great news!  Due to the overwhelming positive interest outside of the United States we have now implemented international shipping.  The shipping cost is calculated based on your shipping destination and can be selected at the time of purchase.  We ship to almost every country therefore if you don't see your country listed please contact us at and we will make special accommodations for your order. Please note that for international shipping that we cannot provide partial shipments if one the items in your order is on back order.

 

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS

Please note if you reside outside of the United States you may be responsible for a customs charge from your country.  The price you pay on bittersweet.is covers the bracelet, packaging and postage fees.  It does not cover customs that your country may add and BitterSweet bracelet will not reimburse you for these charges.  Please contact with any questions.

 

BRACELET MATERIALS

The bracelet designs made of precious metal are all 925 sterling silver or silver with 22K gold or rose gold plating.  The bracelet designs made of stainless steel have a silver, gold, or rose gold ionized plated finish.  The stainless steel bracelets are 316L stainless steel that include 11.5% Nickel, however the ionized plating has no Nickel.  This has been made according to the international standard.  Allergic to Nickel? We are happy to offer the Classic Design bracelets made of a base metal that do not contain any Nickel for our customers who are allergic and would like to enjoy the bittersweet bracelet as well!

 

PRODUCT CARE

Follow these simple steps to keep your bittersweet bracelet looking its best:
  • It is recommended to use a polishing cloth regularly to effectively clean your bracelet
  • Be mindful to store your bracelet (precious metal jewelry) separately in a box or anti-tarnish pouch
  • Apply perfume or hairspray before putting on your bracelet because certain chemicals in these products can potentially damage the finish
  • It is recommended to remove your bracelet before swimming, bathing, or using household cleaners

 

BRACELET SIZING
Currently the bracelet comes in one size and best fits a wrist that ranges from 6 - 6.75 inches in circumference. For wrists that are smaller or larger, it is possible to shape the bracelet - especially the bracelets made of precious metal material which is more malleable than the stainless steel bracelets.

 

PACKAGING
Depending on the bracelet you have purchased it will be packaged in either a box or drawstring pouch. Both are perfect for gift giving! If you should require any special notes or instructions for your packaging please contact us.

 We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).  You will receive a confirmation of your order via email with the total dollar amount (including applicable taxes and shipping & handling).

 

RETURNS

Item(s) can be returned or exchanged within 14 days in its original packaging and unused condition. Please note that international and custom orders with engraving are final sale.  Postage for returns will be paid for in the event there is an inaccuracy with your order otherwise shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Email us to discuss if you would like to exchange or be refunded.  Before sending the item, please email  with the following information:
